Specification of Redmi Mi 6 :
The Redmi Mi 6 is one of the latest in the lineup of Mi smartphones and is expected to be released on 28th of December 2017 at the price point of Rs. 23,990 approximately. This smartphone runs on the 7.0 version of Android Operating System(Nougat) and is feature loaded phone, which has a Snapdragon 835 10nm processor, a dual 12 – megapixel rear camera with dual tone flash and an 8 – megapixel camera in the front, for all the selfie lover. It also has a four-sided curved glass or ceramic body, depending on the variant that you choose.
It has a huge 5.15 inch display and a 3350 mAh battery to power the device. These are the main or basic specs for the device and now we will discuss these and plenty more features or specifications in detail. Now, let’s first talk about the processor and memory of the device. The Redmi Mi 6 has 6 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and has 64 GB & 128 GB options available in terms of internal memory. The device has a Snapdragon 835 CPU, Adreno 540 GPU for all the gaming freaks and a 6 bit dual-channel memory. The 128 GB variant also comes with ceramic body along with 18-karat gold camera rim. Now, comes the battery, it has a 3350 mAh non-removable battery with Quick Charge 3.0 18W charge. It also supports Tpye-C reversible connector. The rear of the phone has a wide angle dual camera setup of 12 – megapixel along with a dual tone flash. The front of this device sports an 8 – megapixel camera that supports low-light enhancement technology, panorama, burst mode and face recognition technology. The phone is also capable of recording 4k videos at 30 fps frame rate. Now comes the navigation, the Redmi Mi 6 supports GPS, AGPS, GLONASS and BeiDou positioning. The device is also loaded with lots of sensors including gyroscope sensor, accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, a hall sensor, an electronic compass and a barometer. Now, let’s talk about the color options that Redmi Mi 6 offers. The glass body Redmi Mi 6 comes in three different colors, black, blue & white. While the ceramic body variant comes only in Ceramic Black color.
The device seems pretty good in terms of on-paper-specifications and also quite promising with 6GBs of RAM and other over the top features but, the real question is that will it really perform that good? This question will only be answered when Xiaomi decides to roll it out for the Indian customers and we will get a hands-on experience of the device. Until then we can just hope that it will be a worth it product, because at this price range we don’t want a useless device which is good just on the papers and cannot perform or match up its hype or on-paper specifications.
